TV Ratings: CBS Tops, But NBC Can Sing

'NCIS'
NBC dominated the 18-49 demographic again in the second week of the fall TV season. Although it placed third among total viewers, NBC is clearly thriving and is the only network to gain viewership over the year-to-year period. The Peacock network can herald ‘Sunday Night Football’ as its top-rated show, although ‘NCIS’ on CBS was tops overall with nearly 19 million viewers. NBC also was strong with ‘The Voice,’ good for 8th place. CBS, meanwhile, won the week among total viewers. ‘The Big Bang Theory’ continued to perform strongly with more than 15 million viewers, while ‘NCIS: Los Angeles,’ ‘Person of Interest’ ’60 Minutes’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’ also placed in the Top 10. ABC did fairly well, with strong showings from ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Once Upon a Time,’ among others. FOX had decent showings from new shows like ‘The Mindy Project’ but continues to be buoyed by ‘The X Factor.’ Here’s a look at the Top 20: 1. “NCIS,” CBS, 18.87 million., 2.
