Matt Kowalsky’s (George Clooney) space shuttle is hit by debris during a spacewalk, leading to some awful damage. Not only is their space shuttle totally smashed, the two spacewalkers aren’t able to hold on to each other and are separated. That’s it; I am never going for a spacewalk again! Tee-hee. Before losing connection, Dr. Stone is asked to detach herself from the space shuttle’s arm or it would carry her along too far.
