Godzilla, the king of the monsters, and rightly so, is back with his spine-chilling roar. Gosh, didn’t these Kaijus learn a lesson after Pacific Rim? Starring Bryan Cranston,Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, Godzilla has got its debut trailer.
Addressing his troops, David Strathairn’s character says in the trailer, ‘Gentlemen, you are being sent in by a HALO jump. I realize not all of you have had hands-on experience and frankly, none of us has ever faced a situation quite like this one before.’ He adds, ‘I would not be asking any one of you to take this leap if I didn’t have complete faith in your ability to succeed. Your courage will never be more needed than it is today.’ The trailer then offers shots of tensed civilians, army men and a completely destructed
city, covered with debris and smoke. That said, the high point of the trailer is Godzilla’s roar.
