"Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the most-anticipated science fiction epic of 2015, is being promoted through an exclusive Chinese trailer and six character-based posters that were released on Thursday. The seventh installment is directed by J. J. Abrams and involves a reunion of some of the big namesfrom the original episodes like Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leah) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), along with an all-star cast including Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow. fans drooling over "the best 'Star Wars 7' trailer yet" on social network platforms. "The Force Awakens" is co- produced by Lucasfilm and Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and will be distributed worldwide by Walt Disney Studios. China Film Co. Ltd. and Huaxia Film Distribution will jointly distribute the film in China.

Presales, which were more than US$50 million in North America alone, have broken many box office records and even caused numerous film ticketing websites to crash due to the huge demand.
