So when Abhishek Bachchan’s Indian Super League team Chennaiyin FC was playing its first home match, how could daddy cool be missing? After the ecstatic victory, Amitabh and Abhishek took part in the charity penalty shootout challenge, where every successful penalty kick goes for Rs. 25,000. However, Abhishek Bachchan announced just before the shootout: “Because dad is here, we are gonna up it from 25,000. Each goal goes for one lakh.” While Abhishek Bachchan scored twice, Amitabh Bachchan managed to blast only once. Amitabh said after the shootout: “This is a very good cause.
