Bollywood’s Imran Khan, popularly known from ‘Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na’ movie and also the nephew of Aamir Khan, has been away from acting for a long time. It is known that he will not return to acting.
Recently, his friend actor Akshay Oberoi said that the actor, who is famous for his movie ‘Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na’ has quit acting.
Imran and Akshay have been friends for more than 18 years. In an interview, he said, “Imran Khan is my closest friend in Bollywood. He is no longer an actor because he has quit acting.”
“Imran is such a close friend of mine that I still can call him at 4:00 am. Imran and I have been friends for about 18 years. We went to a teenage acting school in Andheri West,” he told in the interview.
Asked if Imran is planning to become a screenwriter or director after quit acting, Oberoi said, “Imran has quit acting now. As far as I know, he is very good at writing and managing talent. But I don’t know if he will direct any movie. I don’t want to put any pressure on him. But as a friend, I would like him to make a movie. Imran will do very well when he starts directing movies due to his feeling and better knowledge of films.”
“He does not blame anyone for quitting acting. Imran admits that acting is not an easy task. That is why he is trying to emphasize writing and directing. He is more interested in these than acting,” said Akshay Oberoi.Imran’s latest starring movie ‘Katti Batti’ released in 2015.
