JAMMU: NIFD welcomed its 22nd batch with an extravagant fresher's Party which was organized on Tuesday at KC ORCHID. It was a joint effort by the students of NIFD, where their talent and creativity was displayed. The creativity of the students was clearly visible through their performances and the décor of the stage. Each and every student participated and displayed their innate talents through dancing, singing, reciting poems etc. the entire ambience was of celebration and merry making. The occasion was graced by the presence of guests and judges Monika Bhatia, Owner Of Poshak Bridal Emporio, Shivani Gupta, Beauty And Wellness Expert And Owner Of Shalz Medispa, Sujata Anand-An Image Makeover Consultant, Sidharth Dogra, Director /Partner Jammu Links. Before the curtain was drawn, few deserving students were given the titles and prizes as per winners of Fresher's party. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed amongst the participants. The results include MS. NIFD Anu Manhas , MS. FRESHER'S Zeenat , 1st runner up Damini Wali and 2nd runner up Mehak Gupya and Ankita, BEST WALK title given to Raghvi , BEST PERFORMANCE to Sakshi Bhagat ,BEST DRESS to Mehak Verma and Kanika Virdi, MS. ELEGANCE to Jhanvi, BEST ACCESSORY to Navya Verma, BEST SMILE to Mahima Grover Speaking on the occasion, Vanita Thakur, Chairperson welcomed the new students and congratulated them for such a lovely show and said that NIFD always strived to give its students the best platform to showcase their talent and creativity. She also appreciated the hard work the staff put in to guide the students and announced the NIFD Fashion Show would be held in November this year.
