Dia Mirza marks 20 years of her Christmas tree: Reusing is great way of letting go of patterns

Mumbai, (IANS) Dia Mirza marked a meaningful milestone this festive season as her Christmas tree turned 20. The actress and environmentalist shared that reusing the same tree and decorations year after year serves as a reminder to let go of habits and patterns that no longer benefit people or the planet.

Dia took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a video of her beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Tagging it “the most wonderful time of the year” for those fortunate enough to be safe, warm and at home, Dia wrote in the caption: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year for those who are fortunate enough to be safe, warm and home… Our Christmas Tree makes it to year 20.”

She added that many of the decorations adorning it are even older than her son Avyaan.

“Many of the decorations are older than Avyaan.”

The actress said reusing the same tree and ornaments year after year has been a conscious practice.

Dia concluded the post: “Reusing these ornaments and the tree each year has been a practice that the kids will now learn from… Reusing is a great way of letting go of patterns that don’t serve people or the planet.”

The actress and former beauty queen made her acting debut with the Hindi film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein in 2001.

She went on to star in films including Dus, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Shootout at Lokhandwala, Kurbaan, Sanju and Thappad.

Dia was last seen in Nadaaniyan directed by Shauna Gautam. The film stars Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, alongside Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, and Jugal Hansraj.It tells the story of a privileged South Delhi school girl who gets a boyfriend-for-hire to get back at her family and classmates. Mom Priyanka Chopra receives a special gift from daughter Malti

umbai, December 9 (IANS) Global star Priyanka Chopra is also a proud mom to her 3-year-old daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The desi mom received an extremely special gift from her little bundle of joy, which she cannot help but flaunt.

Priyanka took to the Stories section of her Instagram handle and posted the photo of an adorable drawing by Malti of her and her mother. Uploading the sweet drawing on social media, the 'Barfi' actress wrote, "Mama holding me", followed by teary-eyed, crying, and red heart emojis.

In November, Priyanka revealed that during the shoot of the much-anticipated drama, Malti visited her on the sets in Hyderabad.

During an #AskPCJ session on X (Formerly known as Twitter), a user asked her, “Priyanka, when you’re shooting for a film, do you usually bring your family along to the sets, or do you prefer to go alone and focus completely on work? Especially for this #GlobeTrotter set?”

Replying to this, Priyanka revealed, “My daughter has been to set in Hyderabad, and she had the best time with @urstrulyMahesh and Namrata’s beautiful daughter Sitara and went to @ssrajamouli’s farm and met a calf. Her favourite memory", tagging Mahesh Babu.

Priyanka ended up winning countless hearts during the grand title and teaser reveal event for "Varanasi" in Hyderabad.

Spilling her excitement about working with Tollywood heartthrobs Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and renowned director SS Rajamouli, Priyanka called it 'a privilege'.

Mumbai, (IANS) Bollywood star couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif announced the arrival of their baby earlier in the day today through a joint social media post.

They wrote, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November, 2025 – Katrina and Vicky.” HN Reliance Foundation, the hospital where Katrina Kaif delivered her baby, released an official statement updating on Katrina and her baby’s health. The statement read, “Actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were blessed with a baby boy at HN Reliance Hospital this morning. Both Katrina and the baby are fine. It further read, “Male baby born at 08:23:18; mother and baby are stable. Discharge not yet planned.”

In September, the couple had announced their pregnancy on social media, yet again through a joint post. In the Polaroid photo shared by the couple, Vicky was seen affectionately holding Katrina’s baby bump. They had captioned it as, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.” As soon as the news was announced, the Bollywood fraternity took to the comments section of Vicky and Katrina’s announcement post to congratulate them.
