On Friday, Lady Gaga attended her "Fame" Eau de Parfum launch at Macy's Herald Square in New York City by arriving in a replica bottle of perfume carried by a horse drawn carriage. The pop star wore an unusual, shiny black costume and a metallic copper mask. Her giant heeled boots featured naked gold figures writhing all over them. On Thursday, the singer launched her perfume at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum where she allowed people to touch her while she was "sleeping" and she got a tatoo of a cherub on the back of her head. See more photos of Gaga at Macy's. Source: Starpulse

Madonna's Abandoned Malawi School Site To Become A Cemetery

Madonna
A patch of land in Malawi where Madonna was due to build a school is to be turned into a cemetery for national heroes. The pop superstar, who has adopted two children from Malawi, had planned to construct an academy for girls on the site in Chinkhota and even attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony there in 2009. Nevertheless, the plans were abandoned last year after Madonna's Raising Malawi charity fell into crisis amid allegations of financial problems. Government officials in Malawi have now confirmed the site will be turned into a burial ground for important figures. Tourism Minister Daniel Liwimbi tells British newspaper The Guardian, "It was a cabinet decision to construct the heroes' acre at this site... Malawians deemed to have done a heroic endeavor of national importance, and selected by committee, which will scrutinize whatever they did, will be buried there." Earlier this year, Madonna announced plans to continue her dream of providing education facilities for children in the country by teaming with non-profit group buildOn to build up 10 schools instead. Doll Manufacturer Sues Lady Gaga For $10 Million

Lady Gaga
Bosses of a toy company licensed to make a doll of Lady Gaga have filed a lawsuit against the star.
The Bad Romance hit-maker and her management and licensing companies are being sued for $10 million by executives at MGA Entertainment for an alleged breach of contract, according to the New York Daily News. It is claimed Gaga requested the removal of a voice sound chip from the doll which put the company under pressure to meet their deadline for retailers. Company bosses had hoped to ship the figure to shops in time for Christmas but they allege the singer and her team "engaged in intentional and deliberate delays" to stop the toy reaching shelves until 2013, so it coincides with the release of her new album and perfume. Chiefs at MGA Entertainment paid Gaga's licensing company Bravado International Group a $1 million advance but they are now petitioning to release the doll as soon as possible. A spokesman for the pop star tells the New York Daily News, "Lady Gaga will vigorously defend MGA's ill-conceived lawsuit and is confident that she will prevail... There was no legitimate reason for dragging Lady Gaga into that dispute."Source: Starpulse
