Mumbai, (IANS) Actress Raashii Khanna, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘120 Bahadur’, has heaped praise on her co-actor, Farhan Akhtar. The actress said that more than the actor in Farhan, he admires the person he is.

Sharing her experience of working with Farhan, the actress said, “So when we came together on this film, I have to thank Farhan sir first, because he broke the ice. And I think he treats everyone with equal respect, no matter who they are. That’s a quality that I have not seen in a lot of people”.

She further mentioned, “That’s why I cherish him more as a human being. Of course, I love him as an actor and a director, but I think I really, really like him as a person. He is very, very inspiring, very, very disciplined. And I think now everyone knows that if I say anything, I genuinely mean it. I genuinely mean this, that the experience has been incredible, and I really hope I get more opportunities like this to work with him”.

Farhan Akhtar, reflecting on Raashii’s role in the film, didn’t hold back in his praise, as he said, “It’s an absolute pleasure, Raashii, working with you. She says that this story found her, I believe it could actually be the other way around. I feel that paths find the people who are best suited to play them”.

Jackie Shroff shares how he became a part of ‘Tanvi: The Great’

Mumbai, June 30 (IANS) Bollywood’s Bhidu, actor Jackie Shroff will be soon seen in the upcoming film ‘Tanvi: The Great’, directed by veteran actor Anupam Kher. Jackie, whose charm spreads across the combined canvas of social media and cinema, has shared how he became a part of the film.

During the recently held trailer launch, Jackie Shroff delved into the film and shared insights about working alongside Anupam Kher. In addition to this, he also shared an anecdote, revealing how he became an addition to the film.

The actor shared that he was drawn into the film by a song, which Anupam played during their call to discuss the film.

Talking about the same, Jackie Shroff shared, "I thank Anupam Kher for casting me in this film. I was teary-eyed when he first called me and played a song. Usually, I don't cry in front of anyone, but after hearing the song, my eyes were filled with tears. It's an honour to be on this stage with such a fantastic cast”.

He further mentioned, “Anupam Kher handled everything brilliantly, and I got to learn a lot during the film. He taught me several nuances while filming, so if there's anybody who wishes to learn acting, they can learn from Anupam Kher. He's a beautiful actor and director, and has made an absolutely brilliant film. It's total soul-cleansing”.

In ‘Tanvi: The Great’, Jackie will be seen playing the role of Brigadier Joshi, alongside an impressive cast including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Tacker, Iain Glen, Pallavi Joshi and Arvind Swamy.

The film was recently screened at the New York Indian Film Festival, and the premiere was also attended by Hollywood legend Robert De Niro. Ananya Panday welcomes Jaggu Dada to the 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri' family

Mumbai, (IANS) Actress Ananya Panday welcomed Jackie Shroff aka Jaggu Dada to the "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri" family.

Re-sharing a post of co-star Kartik Aaryan, Ananya wrote on her Insta stories, “The coolest ever! Welcome to the TMMTMTTM family Jaggu dada @apnabhidu.”

On Saturday, Kartik introduced the netizens to the 'OG Hero' of “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.”

The 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' actor took to his Instagram and shared a video introducing Jackie as the new addition to the cast of "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri". The clip opens with Kartik in the frame, who later pans the camera to Jackie showering flying kisses on the board of the film.

The little of the "OG Hero" given to Jackie by Kartik seems apt as he made his acting debut with Subhash Ghai's 1983 release "Hero".

A blockbuster hit at the box office, the movie turned out to be the stepping stone in Jackie's journey as a leading man in Bollywood.

Talking about "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri," the much-discussed drama marks Kartik and Ananya's second on-screen collaboration after the 2019 release "Pati Patni Aur Woh".
