Katy Perry opens up on her ambitions for daughter

Los Angeles, (IANS) Singer-songwriter Katy Perry has shared that she wants her daughter to grow up to be a "better version" of herself.

The singer has five-year-old Daisy with former fiance Orlando Bloom and she was happy to take her little girl on the road with her for her recent Lifetimes tour because she is proud to be an example of a "strong" woman, reports ‘Female First UK’.

She told ‘People’ magazine, "It's always incredible when I get to bring my daughter to work. I think when mothers can be their most supported, authentic selves, that is always a good template for children to model. And I'm just glad to model a strong, steady, intelligent, funny, weird woman for my beautiful daughter”.

And she added at the Tribeca Festival premiere of her concert film Katy Perry, The Lifetimes Tour, Live from Paris, “I think, as mothers and fathers, we're just modelling something for our children, and all we can hope for is that they will grow up into better versions of ourselves, and themselves. I think if I'm out there living my most authentic, free, supported, empowered, smart, sexy life, and she's going to have a pattern to follow, a model to follow”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, the 41-year-old star shared she is proud Daisy is already confident enough to share her opinions.

She said, "She's a force. She tells me exactly what she thinks”. At the premiere, Katy, who was previously married to Russell Brand, declared her new boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, to be the "love of (her) life".

She said, “I am very in love. Actually that show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very anchored by that. Because I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite. I fly super high and like, you know, touch the veil, cosmos, and sometimes I need to be anchored. So, to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now”.Katy couldn't be happier with the way her life is now. She said, “Every day is a fantastic journey, and every day is a chance to evolve, and to be a better person and do the right thing and to be a model for your community, for your family, for your world. Madonna hopes fans put their phones down and connect with concerts

Los Angeles, (IANS) Singer-songwriter Madonna recently took over New York City to celebrate Confessions II, the sequel of her album ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’, which was released 2 decades ago.

During the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of the visualizer for her Confessions II album, debuting July 3, the 7-time Grammy winner explained that the short is “really about connection”, which she hopes to convey in her music, reports ‘Deadline’.

She said, “I don’t want to make mindless music. I want to make music that’s about something. Dance music makes you move your body, and you feel the pulse. It’s, like, you’re connecting to the universe, you’re connecting to other humans”.

She further mentioned, “The movie’s really about connection. I emerge from my solitude of this apartment and go right into a forest with people with lasers coming out of their asses. You just really go through life, take risks, be curious, be observant. And put your fucking phones down and connect”.

As per ‘Deadline, following her appearance at Coachella set in April, the Queen of Pop noted that “everybody had their phones up (and) I didn’t know what anyone looked like”, which is part of the reason she had fans lock their devices in recent screening.

Directed by David Toro and Solomon Chase (aka TORSO), Confessions II is a 13-minute short featuring the first six tracks of Madonna’s upcoming 15th studio album, debuting Monday on YouTube.It features cameos from Benedict Cumberbatch, Debi Mazar, Kate Moss, Julia Garner, Odessa A’zion, Richard E. Taylor Swift on original song for ‘Toy Story 5’: Wrote it as soon as I got home from the screening

Mumbai, (IANS) Grammy winner Taylor Swift has announced her original song for Toy Story 5 and revealed that she wrote the number titled ‘I Knew It, I knew It” as soon as I got home from the screening.

She wrote on Instagram: “It’ a Toy Story You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and @pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie.”

The singer said she instantly fell in love with the fifth installment.

“I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?

The track is co-written and co-produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff, making his return to working with the star after last appearing on her “The Tortured Poets Department” album.

Toy Story began in 1995 with the release of the animated feature film of the same name, which focuses on a diverse group of toys featuring a classic cowboy doll named Sheriff Woody and a modern spaceman action figure named Buzz Lightyear.

It comprises six animated feature films, including Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Toy Story 4. Toy Story 5 and the spin-off film Lightyear.The first Toy Story was the first feature-length film to be made entirely using computer-generated imagery. The first two films were directed by John Lasseter, the third film by Lee Unkrich, the fourth film by Josh Cooley, the fifth film by Andrew Stanton, and Lightyear by Angus MacLane.
