Mumbai, (IANS) Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has spoken up about her “longest tour across North America” as she is set to perform to a live audience in the middle of the festive season.

Following successful legs across Europe, Australia and Asia, the singer is set to embark on her spectacular ‘The Unstoppable Tour 2026’ across North America this September. The tour spans an extensive lineup of cities across the United States and Canada in a single month covering 12 cities.

Talking about the same, Shreya Ghoshal told IANS, “This tour holds a very special place in my heart and marks a landmark chapter in the whole ‘Unstoppable’ journey. In a career spanning over two decades, this will be my longest tour across North America in a single month, and I’m genuinely excited to be coming back. I’m also very happy to be working with Manish, Deepa Sood and the entire Intense Entertainment team once again. When you’re performing across so many cities in such a short span, having a team that understands you and makes the journey feel effortless means a lot. My last visit gave me some beautiful memories, and I had promised myself and my audiences that I would come back. I’m so happy that I’m finally keeping that promise”.

She further mentioned, “There’s something very special about performing here, especially as we head into the festive season, and I’m looking forward to creating that mood and celebrating it with my audiences. The tour will kick off in Boston on September 4, followed by Newark on September 5, Virginia on September 6, Columbus on September 9, Chicago on September 11, Toronto on September 13, Houston on September 18, Dallas on September 19, Austin on September 20, Seattle on September 24, the Bay Area on September 26, and conclude in Los Angeles on September 27, 2026.

Kristen Stewart reflects at her work in ‘Twilight’: 'Pretentious little loser'

Los Angeles, (IANS) Hollywood actress Kristen Stewart isn’t too much of a fan of what she did in ‘Twilight’. The actress has said that she felt she was a "pretentious little loser" while shooting for the film.

The 36-year-old actress, who was just 17 years old when she shot the first movie in the series, reflected on playing Bella Swan.

She also spoke about how seriously she and her co-star Robert Pattinson took the project. The actress said on the ‘In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele’ podcast, “The first one, we were talking about this earlier ‘cause someone else asked about it, but I was like such a pretentious little loser. It was so so serious. Me and Rob were like, ‘Yeah, this is like f****** epic, like, let’s try and, like, elevate this s***’. And it’s like, just be exactly what age you are, and like say the words”.

The actress further mentioned that she and Robert, 40, had a very "teenage" attitude at the time.

She said in jest, “It was always like, ‘Oh my God, embarrassing. God, I just wanted to be like f****** real and it’s, like, impossible. Everyone’s like making it f****** impossible for it to be like f****** real. And then you look at it, and you’re like, it was f****** real. “Anything too much is so perfect for that period of time, where you're not going to do subtle stuff when you’re, like, a teenager dying”.

The actress, who dated Robert for four years after meeting him on the set of the first film in 2008, said that it took some time after the films ended to appreciate them for what they were.

She said, “It's really funny ‘cause it was like we did five of those movies, and it took five years, and then we've never stopped talking about it. Angelina Jolie reflects on Cambodia conflict, says son Maddox's birthplace remains close to her heart

Mumbai, (IANS) Global star and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has marked the first anniversary of the Cambodia border conflict, saying the country, where her son Maddox was born, continues to hold a special place in her heart.

The Oscar-winning star penned a note on Instagram, where she spoke about how nearly 30,000 people remain internally displaced.

“One year ago, conflict broke out along Cambodia’s border, upending the safety and stability of so many. Now, nearly 30,000 people remain internally displaced and unable to return home,” she wrote.

Angelina shared that the place is her son Maddox’s birth country

“Cambodia has always been a special country for me and my family. This is my son’s country of birth, our home is here, and for over 20 years, we’ve worked with a fully locally-led team on conservation and community development. The Maddox Foundation is headquartered on the same border where the recent conflict took place,” she added.

“I have had the honor of becoming close friends with my neighbors and the Foundation team as we demined and developed the area together. When the fighting broke out last year, we had to evacuate our staff and their families — a painful reminder of just how quickly conflict can return.”

Jotting down points about why she loves Cambodia, Angelina wrote: “I love this country and its resilient, warm people. While we’re grateful to have resumed our work protecting the land and supporting the community’s health and livelihoods, my heart is with everyone still waiting to come home.”

Angelina is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a Tony Award and three Golden Globe Awards. As per ‘Female First UK’, in April, it was reported that Taylor's wedding dress will be inspired by the gown worn by Dame Elizabeth Taylor when she married her first husband, Conrad Hilton, in 1950 after researching the movie icon for her song of the same name.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper, "Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamoured with the movie queen's style. Adele planning huge comeback to music, swings between UK, US

Los Angeles, (IANS) Singer-songwriter Adele has been on a hiatus for close to 2 years but now, she is reportedly preparing to make a huge comeback.

The 38-year-old singer stepped out of the spotlight in November 2024 as she wrapped up her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, reports ‘Female First UK’.

However, as per a report, Adele has left her home in Los Angeles and flown to London where she has been spotted at Church Studios in Crouch End, North London, the venue owned by producer Paul Epworth where she recorded parts of her 2015 album 25.

A source told The Sun newspaper the singer has been busy writing and recording new music there, as they said, "Adele is spending at least a fortnight in London writing and recording music”.

The source added, “She was in and out of sessions last week and will be back in there this week, but she is keeping a low profile while she is here. She feels safe at Church Studios and it’s where Paul is based, so it made sense to travel over for the ­sessions, rather than work somewhere else in Los Angeles”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon was also spotted at the studios last week but it's not known if he's been working with Adele. Gracie Abrams was also spotted shooting a music video outside the building last week. Artistes including Blur, Oasis, Coldplay and Sir Paul McCartney have all previously worked at the studio, which was previously owned by Eurhythmics star Dave Stewart.

Adele chose the location because she wants her new music to honour her hometown of London. An insider said, "Adele has been living in Los Angeles for a decade now and although she loves it, her roots in London are very important to her”.

Jennifer Aniston ensures she always has time for self-care

The Morning Show actress is 57 now but has always taken the time to look after her skin and ensure she is eating well, and now her focus is on how she can be at her healthiest in her "later years", reports ‘Female First UK’.

Margot Robbie reveals her sweet Valentine's Day gift for Jacob Elordi

Los Angeles, (IANS) Hollywood actress Margot Robbie is opening up on the special gesture for actor Jacob Elordi. The actress has shared that she gave "flowers on Valentine's Day" to Jacob.
